The hotel has some lovely aspects such as hardworking staff and good quality food in the restaurants. However, the dated rooms and the lack of certain amenities, like tea and coffee facilities, really detracted from the experience. While the cleanliness was commendable, the timing of the bar closures and some safety concerns with the infrastructure made it less enjoyable. Overall, it didn’t meet the luxurious standards we expected.

I had a wonderful week-long stay at Catalonia Yucatán Beach with my mom for our birthdays! The upgraded rooms were stunning, and we loved relaxing on the deck. The staff, especially Ivan and Erandi, were incredibly helpful and made our experience even better. Although the buffet food wasn’t spectacular, the a la carte restaurants offered excellent meals. We enjoyed a clean beach but found the pool area a bit too crowded at times.
